Transportation Project

Transportation Project for a startup

Our Challenge

Create a mobile solution to help parents organize carpools for their kids using design thinking.

Who worked on this

Daisy (Design Lead), Julia (Visual Design), me (Interaction Design)

Here's what we did:

Imagine being a mom with 3 kids. All 3 of them have after-school activities at different places. What do you do?  To find out user pain points and scenarios, we ran a workshop with the clients.

And so begins the sketching...

And so the Information Architecture was born. The app was divided into 3 sections.

Shout out to Julia for her work on turning the wireframes into gorgeous screens.

As the designs evolved in fidelity, we used words like volunteer to build on the product's personality.

When we tested the designs, the participants had more to say about the features of the app instead of the design itself, which was a good sign of usability.

A Sneak Peak to What We Delivered:

We launched the MVP with a team of developers and the app got a good round of funding. It is now on its way to release 3! Check out their website, the user-tested prototype, or the actual app.
